If you want to represent your state- I have the easiest state shirt how to- and you can make it without a vinyl cutter!
Supplies you need to make a state shirt
- vinyl (I prefer super fun patterned vinyl from Expressions Vinyl)
- Print out of your state (#iloveidaho)
First. This patterned vinyl was in my Expressions Vinyl Mystery box! I love it so much! It literally goes with so many fun colored shirts!
How to cut out the state shirt
I take my sharp fiskars scissors and cut around the state shape. If you images isn’t as big as you want- you can leave an inch around when you cut- just follow the lines but leave an outline!
After it’s cut out, place it on the patterned vinyl. Some patterns are directional, so place it the best place so it looks good on your shirt!
Press. Expressions Vinyl has a guide that tells you how long to press- Patterned is 305 for 10-15 minutes! Expressions Vinyl patterned htv comes with the carrier sheet already attached (it protects the vinyl from the iron) So after you press with iron, you pull up the clear sheet and throw it away!
and guess what?! That’s it! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! You can do any state. Any pattern. Any color shirt! (these remind me of my easy Mickey Mouse shirts we made!)So many different options!
